James Cameron believes that superheroes should mature and shoots in water because it looks good

Avatar: The Way Of Water is coming for The Little Mermaid, Aquaman, and any other water-based CGI epic A sequel to the first Avatar film, which became the highest-grossing film in history ten years ago, is set to arrive this December. Avatar: The Way Of Water has had its fair share of delays, setbacks, and cultural dismissal, but this year we'll be able to judge it on its own merits. That being said, James Cameron is having a field day slamming all the blockbuster entertainment that snuck up on him while swimming with Sigourney Weaver and Kate Winslet. Cameron had some harsh words for superheroes in an interview with The New York Times: "Grow up." His main characters in Way Of Water, Jake Sulley (Sam Worthington) and Neytiri (Zoe Saldaa), are grown-ups, with kids and everything. Cameron included that scene in the story because he wants to "do what other people aren't doing." "When I look at these big, spectacular films — I'm looking at you, Marvel

Movie Review: In 'Ticket to Paradise,' Clooney and Roberts play unbelievable adversaries

Image
George Clooney and Julia Roberts have been nominated for 317 film achievement awards, including Oscars, Golden Globes, Primetime Emmys, BAFTAs, and other international honors. The five films in which the megastars have collaborated (Ocean's Eleven, 2001; Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, 2003; Ocean's Twelve, 2004; Money Monster, 2017) have grossed more than $1 billion at the global box office. This film had the potential to be fantastic! On September 8, Ticket to Paradise had its world premiere in Barcelona. On September 20, it was released in the United Kingdom. The film cost around $60 million to make, which is extravagant for a rom-com and risky given today's moviegoer's preference for cinema-tech marvels. Ticket to Paradise is a throwback to simpler times, which could explain its box office success. It had already made $55 million in international sales before it was even released in the United States on October 20. The film is also executive produced by Clooney and

Kantara movie review: Rishab Shetty's hypnotic blend of action and mythology is one of the best in Indian cinema

Image
Kantara movie review: Rishab Shetty brings an original tale rooted in Indian culture and mythology that surely ranks among the best efforts by an Indian filmmaker in recent times. Kantara had received endorsements from people far more accomplished in the world of cinema by the time this review was written, with many more National Awards than this writer could ever hope to win. So I'll admit that I went into the theater with a preconceived notion about the movie, hoping for the best. Kantara, on the other hand, completely blew me away. This powerful film's beautiful fusion of action, thrill, faith, and mythology ranks among the best efforts by any Indian filmmaker in recent times. Also read:  Movie review: The Banshees of Inisherin There has been much discussion about how Indian cinema is losing touch with its roots and failing to find original stories from the heartland. Because of its diversity and vastness, this land is a veritable treasure trove of stories. Kantara demonstr

Movie review: The Banshees of Inisherin (2022)

In Martin McDonagh's black comedy-drama, Brendan Gleeson and Colin Farrell have a darkly hilarious but tragic falling out. The Banshees of Inisherin , the latest film from In Bruges and Three Billboards Outside Epping, Missouri writer-director Martin McDonagh , is one of the best films I've seen this year. Granted, its offbeat, deliberately paced, dark subject will not appeal to everyone, but it is infused with a vein of jet-black humour, as is his previous work. For reasons I'll explain later, I believe it's his most personal film to date. Civil war rages on the fictional small island of Inisherin, just off the Irish coast, circa 1923. Islanders are perplexed about who is fighting whom and why. When the English were the enemy, things were a lot clearer. In the midst of this close-knit island community, fiddler Colm ( Brendan Gleeson ) informs his long-time pal Pádraic (Colin Farrell) that he no longer wishes to be associated with him. "I just don't like you

[Movie Review] Terror and a Haunted Smile in the Film 'Smile'

Image
A s mile  should be a happy symbol that brings warmth. However, in the film Smile, the smile transforms into a terrifying creature that will leave you feeling uneasy long after the film has ended. Smile is a psychological horror film based on Parker Finn's short film Laura Hasn't Slept (2020). Parker Finn expands his story and successfully produces one of the scariest horror shows of 2022 in his feature film debut. Smile follows Dr. Rose Cotter (Sosie Bacon), a psychiatrist who witnesses a series of strange events after one of her patients commits suicide in front of her. Laura Weaver is the patient, and she is terrified of a terrifying entity that disguises itself as the people around her and puts on a happy face. Laura was terrified after witnessing her lecturer commit suicide in front of her eyes. Rose believes Laura is hallucinating, especially after witnessing a traumatic event. Laura's face suddenly smiled. He then took the shattered vase and committed suicide in f

[Movie Review] Black Adam is full of action and thrilling, but...?

Black Adam Watching Now ! Before watching a movie from the DC universe, fans are always nervous. This is because the audience's reactions to DC films are often unpredictable. Audiences can either praise DC films like Wonder Woman (2017) or slam them like Batman v Superman (2016). The latest film about the anti-hero Black Adam, starring Dwayne Johnson, appears to be well received by the audience, with many positive comments. However, there is something missing from films that show off cool costumes and jaw-dropping visual effects. Quite fun for those who want to have fun going to the cinema Black Adam is an excellent choice for those looking for a fun weekend movie to watch with family or partners. This film has several funny scenes that make the audience laugh, as well as action scenes that make them nervous. However, there are many ridiculous elements in this film, such as Teth Adam (Black Adam) suddenly becoming fluent in English with an American accent. Despite the fact tha
